Real Madrid Vs Manchester City

The English Champions Manchester City traveled to Spain to take on the mighty Real Madrid in the 1st leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League.

It was a surprise starting XI from Manchester City as Sergio Aguero, Raheem Sterling, both were left on the bench for this huge clash.

Pep Guardiola surely had something in his mind to leave one of the best players on the bench which we will see how the match turns out to Manchester City.

Both the team had equal chances to score in the 1st half but none of them couldn’t score and the 1st half ended goalless.In the 2nd half Real Madrid broke the deadlock through Isco slicing the ball in the back of the nets in the 60th minute through a pass.

Manchester City scored again in the 82nd minute when Dani Carvajal fouled sterling conceding a penalty to Manchester City. Kevin DeBruyne stepped up to take the penalty and slotted the penalty in the extreme right corner of the Goal.

Manchester City was leading 2-1 at the Santiago Bernabeu against Real Madrid, and things could,t get worse for Real Madrid when Sergio Ramos was sent off for a tackle for Gabriel Jesus in the 86th Minute of the Match.

That means Real Madrid would be without their captain in the 2nd leg of the Champions League which will take place on 17th March at the Eithad Stadium in Manchester.
